Making one person in every family digitally literate is one of the integral components of the Prime Minister’s vision of a ‘Digital India’.
AFCT - VOCATIONAL & TECHNICAL ORGANIZATION'S envisages provision of digital literacy training to 52.5 Lakh persons, one in every eligible household of the country. Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers and authorized ration dealers have also been included in the scheme. The objective is to impart basic ICT skills which would enable the citizen to use IT and related applications and participate actively in the democratic process and further enhance opportunities for their livelihood.

Eligibility Criteria:
Only one person from an IT illiterate family will be eligible to participate under this scheme.
Level 1: Illiterate and up to 7th standard pass
Level 2: At least 8th standard pass
Age: 14 to 60 years at the time of registration (both the years inclusive)
Registration: Please bring your Aadhaar number at the time of registration.
